The roads leading to understanding may be varied, but the end results are still the same: all knowledge and understanding come from God, and to find that understanding, you must be open and receptive to divine wisdom and love.
Spiritual understanding brings divine insight. It enables you to move past the preconceived ideas and beliefs of your current thought process. These new thoughts and beliefs will help you get the most out of every experience and give you the answers you seek.
“Ask, and it will be given you.”
When it seems as though there are more questions than answers, and doubts bubble over into your thoughts, then stop. Check your ego and any emotional “baggage” at the door. Mentally step forward in faith with an open mind, love, and respect. Understanding won’t be far away.
And you can find it by asking, searching, and knocking.
“Search, and you will find.”
Throughout the day you can reconnect with Spirit Divine quickly and easily through prayers and affirmations.
Affirm: Daily I grow in spiritual understanding as I open my mind and heart to the illumining power of God.
Doing so opens your mind and heart, making you receptive to the answers you will receive.
Once you’ve found that quiet place within where you and God are one, then wait. Listen. “Be still, and know” that God’s wisdom will guide you toward acceptance and discovery.
“Knock, and the door will be opened for you.”
In today’s information age, you can point and click your way toward answers to everyday questions. Spiritual answers require you to pray and listen. The answers will come.
Greater Understanding Is Possible
For all your answers to life’s experiences, understanding can be found. The answer you get may not be the same one someone else gets. When it’s right for you, you’ll know it.
So if you have a relationship where opposites don’t agree, pray and listen. You may feel divinely guided to not react in anger but to act in loving, harmonious ways.
If you find yourself asking “Why me” try a time of inner reflection. You may submit a prayer request to Silent Unity or listen to a guided meditation for a time of prayer and uplift. Prayer is a tool you can use to keep yourself poised and centered in times of challenge.
