Beginning September 5, 2023, employees, guests, and tenants of Unity World Headquarters/Unity Village need to use the main entrance to the Unity Village campus located at NW Blue Parkway. The city of Lee’s Summit is beginning a Colbern Road expansion project that is anticipated to take approximately 12 months. The entrance to campus at Colbern Road will be closed for the duration of the project.
The project will improve Colbern Road from M350 Highway to Douglas Street. The road will be widened to four lanes with turn lanes and will include construction of a bridge over the railroad tracks and creek, widening the roundabout, and eventual realignment of NW Blue Parkway.
